Missing Busha
A couple of nights ago when I was putting Mitchell to be and 'sleeping with him one minute', he asked me where Busha lives? I told him a little far away, where fast Grandpa lives. He said one day can we go visit her? I said she was in heaven, and he told me 'I want her to come back and visit her at her house'. Breaks my heart that my children won't have the great experience of knowing my mom. Not a day goes by that this doesn't tear me up inside.

Happy Anniversary!
Yesterday Dave and I took the kids to dinner for our anniversary...I know, how romantic. The kids were fairly good...considering dinner took an hour to get to our table! Sitting next to us was a teen that was mentally impaired, making humming noises throughout the whole meal. I now realize how difficult it is to explain to a 3 and 5 year old why that boy can't stop making that noise. Finally after Allison covering her ears and loudly saying 'that noise is hurting my ears!', I promptly took them both to the bathroom to explain they can not say anything about the boy and the noises he was making! From that point on they were able to ignore it, thank God!
At the end of the meal, Mitchell had to go potty. I took both kids to the bathroom and then headed out to the car. With Mitchell trailing behind, right when we got into the thick of the waiting area packed with people he announces 'Mommy, my penis is sticking out!'. Gotta love them boys!
So to say the least, our Anniversary was...eventful. It may not have been romantic, but the kids had us laughing and having a good time.
